Successful completion of the energy efficiency network REGINEE Osnabrück
Constant increase in energy efficiency is one of the main aspects in the AGRO sustainability concept. Therefore AGRO’s participation in the regional energy efficiency network REGINEE Osnabrück that has been founded in 2016 was a logical step.
The central idea of this regional network is saving energy and avoiding emissions of CO2. In addition to the support of the operating organisations, the exchange of experiences and knowledge between the participating companies is fundamental in this project. This has been realised, amongst others, by company tours and presentations. At the end of the project period, the quality-approved REGINEE Osnabrück has achieved savings of 16.7 gigawatt hours of energy and more than 4,800 tons of carbon dioxide.
Due to these extraordinary results, in the summer of this year, REGINEE Osnabrück will be followed by REGINEE Osnabrück+ – and of course, AGRO will be part of it again.
