From the region of Osnabrück in Lower Saxony, Germany … to the whole world: Founded in Barkhausen in 1948 as a small company supplying the regional furniture industry, AGRO has developed into a global success story in the innerspring sector, still being stamped by the values of a family-owned medium-sized company.

Since 2006, AGRO Holding has been responsible for the development and implementation of the strategy of the Group which now employs around 900 people through its locations in Germany, Poland, Spain, the United States and Colombia.  These subsidiaries have been successful in the market – manufacturing innersprings and Zig-Zag springs for the mattress and upholstery industry as well as producing  steel wire, tools and machinery replacement parts. The latest coup: In 2022, AGRO started producing its own spunbond nonwoven.
